Intro to After Effects - Getting started with Motion Graphics
Adobe After Effects is the industry standard for creating Motion Graphics. Filmmakers, animators, and television creators use the program in post-production to edit and create graphics, animations, and visual effects.
In this four week, hands-on course, students will learn the best practices of creating professional content in After Effects. The course concludes with students creating their own 10-second title animation with video, graphics, and audio.
After Effects meets once a week for 4 weeks, starting Friday March 20th, 6pm-9pm. Clay Asbury, professional post-production consultant and Adobe Certified Instructor leads this fun, intense course. Cost of the course is $275 ($220 for Alumni), and registration and deposit is required at a minimum of two weeks prior to the start of class. Bundle this course with the seminar (see below*) for a total of $280 ($224 for Alumni).
Prerequisites for this course (ONE or more of the Following):
Previous completion of Adobe Digital Editing Intro course (AsoF) or comparable course (syllabus required)
1 Year experience using a Video Editing App
1 Year experience using Photoshop
