STORYBOARDING
101 WORKSHOP

Are storyboards useful and necessary? The short answer is YES! But there is more to creating them than drawing a nice picture.

Learn the essentials of creating effective storyboards, including perspective and realistic camera angles. Join Brad Hoover for an intensive, 3 hour workshop of Storyboarding.

Storyboarding is underestimated and underutilized, but is essential in many ways. First, it allows pre-visualization of the movie before production, allowing for clarity and unification among actors, crew and investors. Second (and most importantly), storyboards are key in determining whether shots are dynamic, edits will flow, and screen direction and eyelines are correct. On the set, storyboards save valuable time setting up shots as they provide an easy to follow diagram for camera and actor placement.

The common misconception about storyboards is that you have to be an artist to create them. This is not the case! In this class you will learn and PRACTICE a few simple rules of perspective and framing that will allow you to create storyboards to make your shots more dynamic, aesthetic, and masterful.

Cost is a mere $35 ($28 for ALUMNI). Register below, and pay here. This course was previously recorded as an Interactive LIVE Webinar (video conference), and is available for viewing for anyone at any time.
