Writing Workshop- Genre!
The first rule of genre is: Never break the rules.
The second rule of genre is: There are no rules.
Writer and Filmmaker Richard L Bergh will lead a discussion on genre covering some of the basic assumptions of popular genres and how to apply genre to a story idea. Workshopping will include sketching ideas into a genre, story pitching, and how to smash genres together without breaking them.
This workshop is targeted to writers of prose and screenplays.
