Intermediate Screenwriting- Feature Writing Development  is taught by local writer R. Lyon Bergh.   He will lead students through an expansion of screenwriting for feature films, meeting once a week for 8 weeks, from 6-8 pm.  Contact us for potential start dates in 2022.

During the course, students will expand upon concepts discussed and practiced in Intro to Screenwriting, and further develop their feature screenplay idea into a completed project.

Upon arrival to the course, students will come with a fully prepared feature script outline, building from their concept developed in Intro to Screenwriting.  There will be various advanced lectures on screenwriting theory and practical exercises in order to assist in the execution, as well as constant in-class workshop and critique.  By the end of the course, students will have at minimum a first draft of a feature script, if not a first revision.

Cost for the course is $425 (Alumni discount included), and the registration form is found below. A $50 non-refundable deposit will be needed to secure the registration. Class will be conducted in accordance to our Social-Distancing Policy for Covid-19, including increased distance, masks and/or face shields, and increased sanitizing.Contact us to discuss further or pre-register using the form below.

Introduction to Screenwriting (or comparable previous coursework) will be a prerequisite for Intermediate Screenwriting, which will be a prerequisite for Advanced Screenwriting (course dates to be determined).
