Picture
Intermediate Screenwriting- Feature Writing Development and Workshop is taught by local professional screenwriter Thomas Cartier. He will lead students through an expansion of screenwriting for feature films, meeting once a week for 8 weeks. Contact us for 2020 start dates and options for Online sessions.

During the 8 week course, students will expand upon concepts discussed and practiced in Intro to Screenwriting, and further develop their feature screenplay idea into a completed project.

Upon arrival to the course, students will come with a fully prepared feature script outline, building from their concept developed in Intro to Screenwriting, to be written and completed as a feature script over the 8-week period of the course. There will be various advanced lectures on screenwriting theory and practical exercises in order to assist in the execution, as well as constant in-class workshop and critique.  By the end of the course, students will have at minimum a first draft of a feature script, if not a first revision.

Cost for the course is $425 (Alumni discount included), and the registration form is found below. A $50 non-refundable deposit will be needed to secure the registration. Class will be conducted either online, or in according to our Social-Distancing Policy for Covid-19, including increased distance, masks and/or face shields, and increased sanitizing.Contact us to discuss further or pre-register using the form below.
