Learn filmmaking locally

pa bootcamp! Get your foot in the door...

Picture
Wanting to work on a REAL film set, but not sure how to get your foot in the door?  Need to build a resume?  School Director, Brad Hoover, and a special guest Production Assistant, Aaron Pelman  will   lead students through this intensive Workshop on How to Get Your Foot in the Door- PA Bootcamp!

The production assistant (or PA) is an entry-level position on a film or television set. The PA can have a variety of responsibilities, ranging from clerical work, to running errands, to chauffeuring cast and crew to/from the set. They may be asked to do critical tasks such as crowd control during filming or unloading and setting-up production equipment, and more!  A seemingly unimportant position- but critical nonetheless, and an important avenue to make industry contacts and build your filmmaking reputation!

This two-day workshop will provide the basic information and training needed to work as a PA in film or television. Through this class, learn what is expected of you, and how to deliver results. Become prepared for the job of Production Assistant, which could be your first step into the entertainment industry!

This weekend workshop will take place March 23rd - 24th, 2019, 1- 5 pm.   Cost of the workshop is $75 ($60 for Alumni).  Register below and pay online.
