NEW TIME AND COST:
Did you ever wonder how certain films get their "look"?  Do you have an interest or talent in drawing, computers, and/or photography? Production Design could be an avenue for you or your career!

Stephen Marsh, a professional Production Designer with over 30 years experience, will guest instruct for the Asheville School of Film.  Using a short script, the course will cover reading and ‘breaking down’ the script into scenes and settings.  Discussions will include colors and textures needed for the settings, how lenses and how films are photographed, and how Visual Effects are produced.   Students will learn how to make a Cost Estimate for the show, and make models of the sets and drawings of the locations to be used.

Production Design Weekend Intensive Workshop will take place August 27th and 28th, 2016, 9 am- 5 pm.  This workshop will guide students through the basics of production design as it relates to film.  Cost for the weekend is $275.  Returning students will receive a 20% discount on all future classes!
